55th Grammy Awards: Which Performances Stood Out To You?

OMG! If the Grammys has ever been fit to impress a Sunday evening last night was the complete SHA-BANG! Just when I thought the recording academy was getting weak and played out an absolute "revival" of nuances showed its pretty face and brought the world hopefully to its knees.
Who else is absolutely thrilled from the performance selections???

Whoever decided pairing up incredibly amazing acts: Alicia Keys and Adam Levine "Girl On Fire", Miguel and Whiz Khalifa "Adorn [Remix], Bruno Mars and Sting "Locked Out Of Heaven"/Police's "Walking On The Moon", Sting, Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Damian, and Ziggy Marley's tribute to iconic Jamaican singer song-writer, cultural, and political fore-teller Bob Marley with his own "Could You Be Loved", would get a big sloppy wet one from me (kisses folks! Let's keep this PG). Despite these amazing pair-ups there were a few dud performances I could live without and I'll get into that too, don't worry! But there were also select showstoppers that blew my mind and the socks off my feet!

You know what's still lingering in my mind: The 6 year return of "JT" Justin Timberlake with "Suit and Tie"; the latest and hot as hell single from his upcoming album The 20/20 Effect and adding another nice cut "Pusher Lover Girl". Carrie Underwood's glorious Diva-licious vocals with an added visual display to entertain us on her gown, absolute G.E.N.I.U.S by the way. The blonde chanteuse Kelly Clarkson's powerhouse vocals with her 2012 hit title track "Stronger"/"Tennessee Waltz"/ and SOUL'D-out take on "Natural Woman" with an added acknowledging bonus shout out to my boy Miguel for his own performance. I agree Kelly it is "the sexiest damn thing"! Who cares if she is just catching on, better late than never! Just a fabulous night that I'll never forget. It took some years from my own personal account and now music has finally returned to what was once thrilling, exciting, and something you anticipated. No money-back from this gala whatsoever, the energy was high and everyone was feeling the impact music does to our souls. It frees us.
