Instantly the one song that stood out the most in my mind was from the movie O Brother, Where Art Thou? "Man of Constant Sorrow". You may wonder how I happened to go see this absurd movie [it truly was upon first viewing]. My mother and I are movie watchers and had time to kill so we went to go see it without any expectations. Which is good otherwise we would've been T-ed off. Humorously retold as Homer's story from the Odyssey: The Illiad, for all my literary giants out there, it was actually all-right. The theme song, stated above, is what stood out the most so take a listen. You may or may not see the connection I'm thinking of.
Or you can just envision seven little men on their way home from work, "Hi, Ho Hi, Ho, it's on to work we go!" (If you haven't figured out the seven little men, then you're in desperate need of a childhood revamp with Disney perhaps with your kids if you have any!) It doesn't surprise me that Ms. Swift is dancing to the rustic folk type song. I've seen her perform a few of her songs dressed like a back-woods country girl playing the banjo a time or two. If my memory serves me right she did reenact this same song so she's probably really good friends with The Lumineers. Does the trio Pistol Annie not come to mind?!! Same collective country vibe. Probably more on a modern present day stance but it gives me the same feeling.
But be careful that your night time festivities involving liquor doesn't have you in a drunken stupor. You'll find yourself with a big red welt across your face fellas! Don't believe me, just switch the two words and you'll soon find out fast enough. It will be your last singing debut to serenade a woman. I can imagine some of you reading this are thinking how funny it would be to try it, by all means be my guest but it's best you leave this one alone, okay. Instead peep the lyrics below directly from The Lumineers music site:

Being a southern girl my relations to what's "country" is not that far removed. I'm actually moved by this song because of the strong Ho's and Hey's being yelled out. It had me singing! Ho! Hey! And like Fun's "Carry On" another song that ends quickly- short, sweet, and simple. Not bad for a song that received a nationwide buzz from being played in December 2011 season finale of CW's Hart of Dixie with actress Rachel Bilson. June 2012 the escalation was apparent with the success of the single moving from #90 to placing 3rd on Billboard's Hot 100! As of last winter from selling over 2 million copies certified the single as their first Double Platinum cut.

VERSE
I’VE BEEN TRYING TO DO IT RIGHT
I’VE BEEN LIVING A LONELY LIFE
I’VE BEEN SLEEPING HERE INSTEAD
I’VE BEEN SLEEPING IN MY BED,
I’VE BEEN SLEEPING IN MY BED
SO SHOW ME FAMILY
ALL THE BLOOD THAT I WILL BLEED
I DUNNO WHERE I BELONG
I DUNNO WHERE I WENT WRONG,
BUT I CAN WRITE A SONG
CHORUS
I BELONG WITH YOU, YOU BELONG WITH ME
YOU’RE MY SWEETHEART
I BELONG WITH YOU, YOU BELONG WITH ME
YOU’RE MY SWEET
VERSE
I DON’T THINK YOU’RE RIGHT FOR HIM
THINK OF WHAT IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN IF YOU
TOOK A BUS TO CHINATOWN
I’D BE STANDING ON CANAL, AND BOWERY
AND SHE’D BE STANDING NEXT TO ME
CHORUS
I BELONG WITH YOU, YOU BELONG WITH ME
YOU’RE MY SWEETHEART
I BELONG WITH YOU, YOU BELONG WITH ME
YOU’RE MY SWEETHEART
BRIDGE
AND LOVE, WE NEED IT NOW
LET’S HOPE FOR SOME
CAUSE OH, WE’RE BLEEDING OUT
CHORUS
I BELONG WITH YOU, YOU BELONG WITH ME
YOU’RE MY SWEETHEART
I BELONG WITH YOU, YOU BELONG WITH ME
YOU’RE MY SWEET
