It's morning so I may not be up all night but this will have me jumping all day! Yesterday was filled with love everywhere for February 14, Valentine's Day. This hot ass poppy red, fuchsia-red mix was the wardrobe color of choice on everybody, candy over-flowing, balloons, bountiful colorful roses, and then this intoxicating joint decides to present itself the day after. Dang really though! What's up Cole World ha!
J. Cole releases his single from his sophomore album Born Sinner for us to lavish on as he meshes up his lyrical slangs with his camaraderie Miguel, 2013 Grammy Award winner for Best R&B Song "Adorn". For anyone who missed the hot train back in 2010 with Miguel's All I Want Is You debut studio album, which in many cases was slept on and over-looked despite his many, and I mean MANY, panty-dropping performances across the US, J. Cole was introduced on Miguel's album-titled track All I Want Is You. So it's nothing new or short of exceptional to catch these two cats back at it again delivering another mad-hot collab. As you can tell there's hardly any complaints coming from this direction. I've been swaying all morning singing the hook with J. Cole
And gotta give credit to my girls on http://onpointmusic.blogspot.com/ for bringings attention to this track on their set. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't have noticed! Definitely OnPoint ;)

Got me up all night, all I'm singing is love songs She got me up all night, constant drinking and love songs She got me up all night, down and out with these love songs She got me up all night, drown it out with these love songs She got me up all night, all I'm singing is love songs She got me up all night, constant drinking and love songs She got me up all night, down and out with these love songs She got me open all night, got me open all nightand Miguel's sexy souled out passage:
Would you believe me if I said I'm in love? Baby, I want you to want me Would you believe me if I said I'm in love? Baby, I want yaThere are a few places that the production gets a little jumbled or overlapped, but it's so quick you can't even tell. It's probably just the way the two wanted the track to sound! Cole is not just a one trick-pony there's song-writing and amazing production to add to his cred. Then Miguel is after all a mastermind at production using his eclectic, out-the-box method to create something completely unique and nonetheless different. I'm sure it would be a lot of fun to catch theses two experimenting with different sounds in the lab, the studio. Seems like there's one point to be made about this one. A guy actually recants or acknowledges he got a little big-head when his endeavors start to blow up. It happens right fellas? We ladies do it too, unfortunately but there's something about you all doing it that tears us a-part. Cole had his eyes on one particular miss and even though he went off track a bit, got a lil' jaded, he wants to reclaim his spot for a prospective life with her as his official leading lady. With his longing captured in this song matched with Miguel's emotion-drenched echo you will want to reclaim what you still feel with that somebody who pulls at your heart strings.
